Christmas card season is upon us, so lots and lots of family sessions. I love giving back to the community that so lovingly gives back to me. The Cantrell’s + Posey came very prepared for the cold weather in their adorable outfits as you can see. I previously worked with Elie at The Yes Girls, which is a proposal planning company all over the United States. They are incredible and you should definitely check them out if you are planning on getting engaged. Hint hint, also reach out to me! Also, this cute little session got featured over at The Daily Dog Tag so you should check it out if you want to see more and more of these images!
If you are in the Dallas Fort Worth area, feel free to reach out to me in the next couple of weeks to get your family sessions done just in time to get those Christmas Cards done for the holidays!
On a gorgeous Friday afternoon, Josh took Landry on a road tour around the campus of The University of Alabama, just like they used to in school. They would ride around in his Charger and reminisce on the good days of college. From The Quad to Bryant Denny Stadium to East Edge to finally the lawn, where Josh says, "We became us!" Landry lived in East Edge when she met Josh. It was across from the lawn of the Law School at Alabama. They would go over and make a little picnic on the lawn & talk for hours and hours. So that's what he did. The driving around, the picnic, the whole 9 yards... except this time, the picnic ended a little differently. After about 30 minutes of picnicing, Josh grabbed her hand and brought her to a stand! Nervously, Josh told Landry how the last years have been the best and he can't wait to spend the rest of his life with her. Josh got down on one knee & asked Landry to marry him! The best reaction from Landry brought me to tears while I was photographing!
In there you will see a new friend…. that’s Albert! Another ADORABLE part of this proposal is that Josh is a Tuscaloosa Cop, so hence the handcuffs. *CUFFED TOGETHER FOR LIFE* One of his partners knew about the proposal and couldn't miss it. Albert sat in the parking lot across the street and watched the WHOLE thing unfold. (I added some images of them with Albert at the bottom). BUT THE BEST PART. After the excitement of getting engaged, Albert went over his loud cop car speaker and said, "Congrats buddy!". It was the SWEETEST ever! Then Albert came over to celebrate with us.
I am so glad I was able . to be a part of their love story from the beginning and now to continue it! Well wishes to the happy happy couple! I love you both so much!
Hi friends! Happy Tuesday! Hope you're having the best week already. Can you believe it is almost July?! Insane right?
I've been reminiscing on my Paris trip A TON lately and I have been hit with the travel bug again! I wanted to share this gorgeous headshot swap session we did at 5am in Paris, France when I was there in April. I'm sure you have seen some gorgeous pictures from this session on my Instagram so I thought I'd do a blog post about it! When I went to Paris this eyar, I knew this kind of session was one I wanted; so touristy right?! But I am so happy with how the images came out! We got to do it in front of the Eiffel Tower, which is one of my favorite monuments in the world! I am so glad I was able to connect with Gabia and we were able to provide each other with new head shots! I mean.... tell me some of these images don't belong as stock photos for frames! Scroll down to see more!
Another thing is that when I was preparing for this photoshoot, I used my "How to Prepare for a Photoshoot" guide and it was SO HELPFUL! So click here or the image below to get it! Let me know what you think!
Now that you've seen the images, I know you WANT to download the guide, so here's another chance! You won't want to miss these tips!
As most of you know, I was in a sorority at The University of Alabama. I was a Pi Beta Phi and I had the best of times helping out with our philanthropy, planning social parties, and making friendships that will last me a life time. When I moved to San Antonio, I knew I was going to feel a little out of place since I knew not a single person and I was starting out in adulthood. The first thing I did was reach out to several different sororities in the area to work with and it was so rewarding. I worked with several in the area, but my favorite by far were the girls of Phi Mu at UTSA. I photographed with them several times and I was lucky enough to do their chapter photos. We did them at the Eilan area, which is such a gorgeous area if you ever get the chance to go. It has great restaurants and bars to hang out at! My favorite being George's Keep!
Hope you enjoy these gorgeous girls and the fun times we had. If there are any sororites in the Dallas area (Texas Christian Univeristy / Southern Methodist University), I would absoultely love to work with you! Just head over to my contact page now and submit a form! I look forward to hearing from you!
